Today’s case is that of an old dog that was dropped off at the humane society with a large pink mass protruding from her vulva. We agreed that this was a marked case of vaginal hyperplasia and that she should be spayed. As we were looking at her, standing on the exam table, we noticed something else about that was quite peculiar. What this poor girl has had to endure. It’s amazing that she remained such a sweet little dog. I’ll spare you the worry and tell you know that she did find a permanent home and they all lived happily ever after.
