This video was created because people would ask me why their ligatures were slipping and how to properly use a three-clamp technique. Technical details are described and demonstrated to ensure that your pedicle ligations are as secure as possible.
The three-clamp technique is also demonstrated but it is often too cumbersome when ligating the ovarian pedicle of a small cat or dog. The 2-clamp technique (also. known as the modified 3-clamp technique) is also demonstrated.
