Yet because finding the linea alba is the start point of any surgery and a good start tends to help make a surgery go more smoothly; well now wouldn’t it be nice to have some pointers to finding it.
There are a number of small hints that can help us locate it: a well positioned patient; clearing the SQ fats and removing the subcutaneous fascia from its attachment to the linea alba (that’s like a neon sign pointing to it!); feeling for its divot and the always present and easy to find landmarks that point to it.
